In honor of the 150th Birthday of San Clemente Island Goats, the San Clemente Island Goat Breeders Association (SCIGBA) is sponsoring a logo design contest. Show your love of the breed by submitting your best design. Logos can be touching, beautiful, awe-inspiring, or witty. They must portray the theme - 150th Birthday of the San Clemente Island Goat breed.
Classes:
Youth: Under 18 years of age
Adult: 18 years of age (at the time of submission) and older
1st Prize in each class: Utilization of logo on limited edition merchandise in the SCIGBA Store.
Submissions: All entries must be submitted in JPG or PNG format.
Deadline: All entries must be emailed to Marie Brown at Wildwoodfarmsteadwi@gmail.com by 11:59 pm EDT on May 16, 2025.
Judging: Entries will be evaluated on their creativity in depicting the theme and the design's ability to be reproduced. A two-person panel will judge, with the public serving as the third judge. Logos will be posted to the SCIGBA social media and website for viewing from May 18 - 23, 2025
Winners will be announced during the SCIGBA Annual Meeting on May 24, 2025.
By submitting an entry, you agree to the following:
Artists will retain all copyright to the original design and grant SCIGBA a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute the design for promotional, fundraising, and organizational purposes. This includes use on SCIGBA’s website, social media, merchandise, publications, and printed materials.
SCIGBA may make minor design modifications, such as resizing, cropping, or color adjustments, as needed for merchandising or advertising.
The artist will be credited where appropriate, but no additional compensation will be provided.
