Is your goat registered in the IDGR/IGSCR Fullblood, Fullblood-R (Fullblood-Recovery), Purebred, or Experimental Herdbooks? 

Instructions:

  • Complete and submit an Approved Source Registry (ASR) (6) application.

  • Include a copy of the IDGR/IG SourceSCR registration certificate with your application You must be the owner of the goat as recorded on the IDGR/IGSCR registration certificate. 

Your goat will be assigned to a Herdbook following these rules:

  • If registered in the IDGR/IGSCR Fullblood, Fullblood-R (Fullblood-Recovery), or Purebred Herdbook then your goat goes into the “Main Herdbook”

  • If registered in the IDGR/IGSCR Experimental Herdbook then your goat goes into the “Crossbred Herdbook”
